About/Bias?

10 Facts About the Arab-Israeli Conflict was created in order to highlight certain critical aspects of the conflict which are ordinarily ignored or left out of mainstream discussion. It is intended to serve as a defense of the Israeli position – not as a comprehensive, impartial description of the entire history of the conflict. Just as an attorney in court does not aim to represent both sides of a case, so too this website seeks only to advocate for the Israeli cause, in the belief that many well-meaning individuals currently hold anti-Israel positions due to misinformation and lack of context.

The ultimate goal of this website is to contribute to a peaceful, two-state resolution of the conflict, in the belief that the best way to solve a problem is to recognize and treat it at the root. The root problem, as argued here, can be summarized as follows:

The ultimate cause of the Arab-Israeli conflict is the widespread, longstanding Arab denial of the validity of Jewish claims to a state in the region.

If and when this truth is recognized by all parties, the path to peace will be clear and direct.

The author of this website is a single individual, unaffiliated with any organization or political entity. 10 Facts About the Arab-Israeli Conflict is not intended as a final source of information in and of itself; rather, it is meant to serve as a starting point for independent research and verification.

Just as this and other sites advocate for the Israeli position, the web is also filled with many voices arguing on behalf of the Arab cause. The reader is invited to investigate the claims made by both parties with an open and skeptical approach, in order to arrive at their own informed, independent opinion.
